How to post your bouquet
Here are our simple instructions
for posting your flowers to us.
We promise, it's really not as tricky or scary as it first sounds. We receive bouquets in the post every week and they are always absolutely fine! Just follow these instructions carefully and your bouquet will be perfectly happy.

STEP 1: Find a box the right size to fit your bouquet. Don't worry if your bouquet is too tall as you will trim the stems later.
Make sure the box is no more than 60cm tall or the Post Office will charge you for a more expensive service. Write our address and 'FRAGILE FRESH FLOWERS' on the box.
Using a sharp pencil, pierce 4 holes on each side of the box to allow airflow to the flowers.
STEP 2: Put a cardboard florists vase in the centre of your box. You could improvise with a plastic bottle/pot, or you can buy one cheaply here on Amazon if you still have time. Alternatively it is included in our P&P pack.
STEP 3: Scrunch up newspaper pages and stuff them around the edges of the vase to hold it securely in place.
Do not use bubble wrap as it might make your flowers sweat!
If you're including any other keepsakes in the box, do NOT wrap them in newspaper or we might not see them. Put them in a separate plastic sandwich bag so they don't get wet.

STEP 4: Trim the stems a little. The bottoms will have sealed themselves up since your florist made the bouquet so you will be helping them to drink better.
Wet some kitchen paper and fold it up around the BOTTOM of the stems. Don't just wrap it around the sides. They drink from the bottom.
STEP 5: Put a sandwich bag around the wet kitchen paper and the bottom of the stems. This will stop the water from leaking all over the rest of your box.
Use an elastic band to secure the plastic bag in place.
STEP 6: Put the bouquet carefully into the cardboard vase. It should fit quite snugly and not move around too much. Put some more newspaper in the vase if your bouquet is too wobbly.

STEP 7: Pack some more newspaper loosely around the sides and top of the bouquet.
STEP 8: Fill in the form if you've purchased our P&P Pack. Otherwise just include a piece of paper with all your details written on it. Please include your full name and your chosen style of preservation .
STEP 9: Seal the box closed with sellotape. If you purchased a P&P Pack from us the address is already on the box. If not, we will have provided you with the correct address to write on yourself.
Take it to the Post Office and ask for the Special Delivery Before 1pm Service. It should cost about £12 - £14.

Buy a P&P Pack
All of the items provided are pretty easy to come by but many brides want one less job on their to-do list before the big day.
For an extra £10, we can send you a P&P pack which contains all the items mentioned above. It will be delivered to your door in a convenient package three weeks before your wedding.
This is a great option if you are asking a friend or family member to post the flowers for you or if you are jetting straight off on honeymoon. The P&P pack will make it easy for them to package the bouquet safely without any stress for them or you!
Please let us know if you would like one of these packs sent out to you.
Don't leave it too late!

If you don't want to purchase one of our P&P Packs, these are the things you need to gather together before the wedding.
Don't leave it until the morning after the wedding! You'll be hungover/trying to pack for honeymoon/opening presents/looking at wedding photos on social media.
